FMF Announces New Representatives

FMF Financial Services is pleased to announce the hiring of three new representatives to serve the financial and stewardship needs of Free Methodists across the country. These three new representatives join the existing team of Tim Burkhart (vice president), Chris DeBacker (Midwest and Central USA), Cary Holman (Midwest and Central USA support), Stephen Macaluso (Eastern USA) and Arnie Brann (Western USA).

“All at once, we were faced with Lee and Paula Crist (Florida) accepting roles with World Gospel Mission, the retirement of Don Bowers (California), and a need for additional support in the East,” Vice President Tim Burkhart said. “As only God can do, He brought Scott Drury, Carol Duberowski and Dave Moffitt to our attention to not only fill our personnel needs, but to strengthen our team. Each brings unique experiences and a servant’s heart to FMF Financial Services. We are excited for the days ahead!”

Scott Headshot 1 JCPK. Scott Drury is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University (Central, South Carolina) and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in both South Carolina and California. Scott was in private law practice in Los Angeles for nearly a decade. He served as a Southern California-based regional vice president for the Free Methodist Foundation based in before becoming the director of resource development for World Hope International in Alexandria, Virginia. Most recently, he has operated his own private law practice and served in a number of significant ministry consulting roles for ministry organizations including the Last Well, World Hope International, Teachoverseas.org and the Wesleyan Church. Drury and his wife, Elizabeth, have four sons: Benjamin, Joseph, Peter, and Jay. They live in Springfield, Virginia. Drury will be assisting Macaluso in serving clients in the Acts 12:24 and Keystone Conferences.

1. Carol D. (web)Carol Duberowski has served in many executive positions at various companies throughout her professional career. Duberowski has had many roles in her local church, Light & Life Christian Fellowship North in Long Beach, California, as well as in the Southern California Conference. She has helped to lead various church planting projects in the city of Long Beach.  She has a huge heart for missions, evidenced by her travels to Ethiopia and Israel as well as her support of several Free Methodist missionaries.  Duberowski has served on nonprofit boards and committees both inside and outside of the church in Southern California.  She is presently on the Ministers Appointment Committee and the Conference Board of Administration. She is married to her husband, Dave, and together they have one son, Nate. Carol will serve clients in the Southern California and Pacific Coast Japanese conferences as well as friends of Azusa Pacific University.

dave moffittDavid “Dave” Moffitt was born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana.  He has an extensive business background as a business consultant and entrepreneur.  He most recently supervised over 350 Family Dollar Stores as regional vice president before taking an early retirement.  He now spends a significant amount of time with friends and constituents in Spring Arbor, Michigan, and Light and Life Park in Lakeland, Florida.  He helped launch the park’s recent campaign to build a new pool, reorganize its golf course and improve the overall financial condition. He and his wife, Jane, have two sons and three grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with friends and watching his grandchildren play sports. Moffitt  will serve clients in the southern region of the country, including the South Atlantic, Gulf Coast and Alabama-Georgia conferences.
